Top 5
// June 29th, 2009 // Top 5's
One huge hoorah for Top 5′s. This one should make me feel a little embarrassed, but it doesn’t. So deal with it! If you’re brave enough, leave your list in the comments.
Top 5 Guilty Pleasure Movies
1- 13 Going on 30- I love Mark Ruffalo. And this movie is funny and well acted all around. I like it.
2- Dirty Dancing- Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
3- I Know What You Did Last Summer- This movie is terrible…and awesome. I enjoy this movie too much.
4- Enchanted- Amy Adams has a lot to do with this one.
5- Clueless- Come on, it’s funny!

I can’t come up with 5 movies, but I wanted to write a list anyway
1. War of the Worlds – I know this movie is bad and inconsistent, but I get a thrill of terror from watching it. The tripods are very cool and I like thinking about how I would survive in this crisis.
2. Meet the Robinsons – This isn’t the best animated movie, but I find it hilarious.
3. Secret Life – this isn’t a movie at all, but it’s a tv show on abc family and its my soap opera. Because it is awful, dramatic, and I still watch it.
4. New Moon – This movie isn’t out yet and I haven’t seen it, but I have a feeling that I’m going to like it, despite the good chances that it will be horrible, just like Twilight. And despite that I really don’t like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
5. I can’t think of another one right now…
1. Twilight
And, if we’re doing movies that haven’t been released yet:
2. New Moon
3. Eclipse
4. Breaking Dawn
And my true guilty pleasure:
5. Fern Gully (Crysta is totally hot)
I’m not sure those count as guilty pleasures, Nic. We all knew you liked those movies already.
True, but I was really spilling the beans with that Fern Gully item…
1. Stupid Teen/High School Romantic Comedies– Can’t Hardly Wait, She’s All That, Simply Irresistable– I love a movie my brain doesn’t have to work at to enjoy.
2. Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightley– even though keira knightley drives me crazy in this movie, I’ll watch this when I feel like a Jane Austen story but don’t have time for the 6 hour miniseries, and I like the more modern feel to it.
3. TV Reality Shows– Amazing Race, Survivor, Last Comic Standing, Wipeout– I’m addicted.
4. Kung Fu Panda– Even though this has been played over 100 thousand, million times in my house, I still laugh at it.
5. Doctor Who– I could watch these all day, every day. I love Donna (season 4). I’m still mad her brain will be fried if she ever remembers the Doctor. So sad. Can’t wait for the next season to be released!!
1. American Mall
2. Twilight
3. Sleepover
4. Tru Calling (TV Show)
5. all Judge TV shows
I’ve noticed that every Betts-in-law has liked Twilight, but none of the Betts men have. Could it be that Betts men are simply incapable of admitting their fancy for said movie?
(And I’ll just unscrew the lid from this can of worms and set it down over here…)
Ya, um, nope. I couldn’t like that movie if you paid me. Nor would I want to.
But I will gladly kick over that can and step on each individual worm. Then pick up said worms and hide them in your spaghetti.
Yep, with Bryan on that one. That movie is the worst thing to ever happen to life.
I thought of a number 5: Hatching Pete – a Disney channel original movie. I recorded it onto the DVR and have already watched it four or five times. It rocks.
And I agree with Kelsey on Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley, it disappoints me every time, but whenever I see it on tv, I have to stop and watch it. And I love Kung Fu Panda.
