Afterlife

For you Resident Evil fans out there, the fourth film in the series, ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’ is set to begin shooting really soon. It’s unofficial release is supposed to be September of next year, and it’s going to be in 3-D. I think that aspect of it will make the film all that much more enjoyable. Even though 3-D doesn’t agree with my head, who doesn’t want to see zombies get killed in 3-D? I think you would have to be pretty insane to not want to see that. There are other reasons that I am pretty excited for this movie. Although you could never say that the Resident Evil movies are “great” movies by any stretch of the imagination, I find them very entertaining and very enjoyable. Even with my elitist attitude, there are still movies I can just sit down and enjoy, and these movies definitely do that for me. The biggest reason I am excited though is because of Milla Jovovich. I am a huge Milla fan and I will watch pretty much anything with her in it. She is always cool, and even though she is always pretty much the same she has shown that she can act (see ‘Dummy’ for proof.) I wish she would expand her horizon’s a little bit and do some more serious roles, but hey, I will take what I can get from her. She’s pretty awesome no matter what.
